1. Manage and oversee civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide project execution.
3. Accurately calculate quantities of materials required for construction activities, including concrete, steel, earthworks, and other relevant materials.
4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Monitor project progress, including site inspections, to ensure work is carried out as per the plans and standards.
6. Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, cost tracking, and any issues that arise.
7. Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times .
9. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to progress.
10. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
11. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Qualifications :
1. bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within civil construction.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
5. Excellent skills in quantity and estimation.
6. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
