Civil Site Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Civil Site Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our team. The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of construction projects, including site inspections, quality control, progress monitoring, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project specifications, and timelines.
2. Quality Control: Ensure quality standards are met in construction materials and workmanship. Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and resolve them.
3. Planning & Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop and implement project plans and schedules. Coordinate between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, contractors, and site staff on the execution of civil works.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site progress, reports, and project documentation, including work progress, inspections, and safety audits.
6. Material Management: Monitor the supply and use of materials on-site to ensure that they meet project requirements and are used efficiently.
7. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the site complies with local health and safety regulations and implement best practices to mitigate risks.
8. Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior engineers or project managers, addressing any challenges or delays.
9. Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that work is completed within the allocated budget.
10. Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges on-site and provide effective solutions to minimize delays or disruptions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Experience: 2-6 years of hands-on experience in construction, preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Familiarity with civil engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
• Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot site issues and recommend solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to oversee site activities and ensure high-quality execution.
• Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with various project members.
