Node JS Backend Developer

• Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture (EDA):
  • Experience in implementing microservices using EDA principles.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for simplicity and maintainability.
  • Expertise in decoupling event producers and consumers to enhance scalability and resilience.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services supporting event-driven architectures.
  • Ability to design microservices that communicate via events to promote fault tolerance and scalability.
• API Development & Management:
  • Skilled in working with API Gateway services (e. g. , AWS API Gateway) to manage and route requests.
  • Experienced with frameworks like Express. js (Node. js) or Spring Boot (Java) for API creation.
  • Familiar with API security protocols like OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API key management.
  • Proficient with tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman for API documentation.
• Data & Performance Optimization:
  • Knowledge of event routing, filtering, and storage using NoSQL databases for event-driven workloads.
  • Familiar with event sourcing and snapshotting for data persistence.
  • Expertise in ORM usage, query optimization, and data modeling for efficient API performance.
  • Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis and Memcached.
• Monitoring, Logging & Load Management:
  • Skilled in using monitoring tools to track event loss, latency, and bottlenecks.
  • Proficient with AWS CloudWatch and Splunk for monitoring and logging.
  • Experience with load balancing, rate limiting, and throttling to manage high API traffic.
• Testing & Automation:
  • Strong experience in writing unit and integration tests using tools tools like Postman, Jest, or Mocha

Technical Skills:

• Languages: JavaScript (Node. js), Java (backend and serverless services).
• Messaging Systems: RabbitMQ, Amazon SNS/SQS.
• API Management: AWS API Gateway, Apigee.
