Job Description
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for operational and analytical systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data structures.
- Ensure data models align with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
- Work with Erwin Data Modeler or similar tools to create and manage data models.
- Design and implement solutions using Snowflake and SQL for data warehousing and analytics.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Integrate data models within AWS-based cloud ecosystems.
- Conduct data analysis to support model development and validation.
- Proven experience in data modeling for large-scale systems.
- Expertise in AWS cloud services related to data storage and processing (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Proficiency in using Erwin or similar data modeling tools.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, setup, and development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
