The role involves comprehending project requirements, product specifications, and production/migration guidelines, as well as understanding client needs and overseeing the efficient completion of assigned development/production tasks while facilitating collaboration between training managers, clients, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to ensure smooth integration of content and courses within the LMS.
Collaborating with SMEs, Instructional Designers, industry, and key stakeholders to provide digital design solutions thats meets their needs
Good knowledge of the company product development lifecycle and the process/development tools
Learn and apply the development life cycle and anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, multiple assignments and organizational needs.
Stay updated with the latest advancements, best practices and emerging trends in the LMS industry, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Create estimates for the development/conversion of content from storyboards into an LMS or authoring tool.
Adhere to company and project standards and guidelines
Contribute to the company knowledge base and process improvements
Should contribute to the research and development related to this domain
Should have understanding of content and social media publishing platforms
Communicate project progress, challenges, and timelines effectively to stakeholders and project teams.
Manage & Mentor new team members of the team and maintain high team morale
Will be required to train the team on web technologies and standards
Technical Skills
Should have troubleshooting experience with LTI, REST API, SCORM, AICC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, HTML, and CSS.
Should have clear understanding of different terminology/words used in various LMS (D2L Brightspace, Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.).
Should have a thorough understanding of the course build process for: assignments, Quizzes, Discussion, SCORM, LTI, QTI, xAPI, etc.
Should be able to create and understand the concept of Rubric, Outcome, Standards, competency, and LOR.
Should be able to create and understand Mastery Path, Certificate, Badges and release content or certificate or badges based on different criteria.
Should have development experience of Web technologies, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap
Familiarity with web standards and best practices.
