Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the West region for our aftermarket division. The ideal candidate will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing channel partners, and leading a high performing sales team.

Key Role Expectations:

  1. Sales Leadership and Strategy:
    1. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve regional goals in alignment with overall organizational objectives.
    2. Drive revenue growth by expanding market share and increasing product penetration in the region. Monitor sales performance and ensure alignment with company objectives/goals.
  2. Team Leadership:
    1. Lead, mentor and motivate a team of Area Managers & MSRs to achieve individual and team goals.
    2. Recruit, train and manage a team of Area Manager and MSRs
    3. Set performance goals, provide guidance and conduct regular performance reviews.
    4. Channel Management:
    5. Build, nurture and maintain strong relationships channel partners.
    6. Identify and onboard new channel partners to strengthen the sales network. MAHLE internal (CL2)
    7. Ensure channel partners are trained and well equipped with product knowledge and sales tools.
  3. Market Development:
    1. Analyze market trends, competition and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
    2. Plan and execute marketing & promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and sales.
    3. Engage with key customers and channel partners to ensure satisfaction and long term loyalty.
  4. Operational Efficiency:
    1. Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
    2. Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability.
    3. Collaborate with Product team for new product development as per market demand.
  5. Reporting & Analytics:
    1. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports and updates to the HO.
    2. Use data driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve regional performance.

    • Managing Regional Sales Employment Contract Full-time Sr. Manager RM External External Internal Retailers Distributors Mechanics Workshop / Agencies Head - Aftermarket Area Sales Manager MAHLE Holdings Retailers Distributors Mechanics Workshop / Agencies MAHLE internal (CL2) Key Requirements:
    • Formulating Business Plan as a whole and individually for each customer with strategic Growth Objectives. Responsible for sale.
    • Managing existing customers and addition of new customers as per strategy.
    • Bench Marking with the completion, analyzing competitors offering and formulating strategy both for Key Customer Account and Independent After Market.
    • Management and Development of team, primarily ASM and Support Sales staff.
    • Manages coordination and reconciliation of accounts between customers and HO. Responsible for overdue reduction/elimination. Responsible for setting sales targets with customers in coordination with Business Plan.
    • Introduction of new part numbers.
    • Management of Quality Claims
    • Experience: 10-16 years of Experience
    • Education: Bachelor s/ master s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Skills
      • Strong leadership and team management abilities
      • Proven expertise in channel sales and distributor management
      • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
      • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets consistently.
      • Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively.
