Manager Marketing- Defence & Aerospace

Responsibility to lead and drive the sales and marketing efforts for the precision component manufacturing division, ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of business from defence and aerospace, PSU, as well as private companies

Critical Tasks

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
• Conduct Market Research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
• Identify and target new business opportunities in Defence, Aerospace PSUs, and private companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
• Generate leads, conduct market research, and prepare detailed proposals and presentations.
• Drive long-term partnerships with clients and foster repeat business.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
• Provide feedback to the development team to align products with market demands.
• Manage and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure timely delivery of products as per client specifications.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure adherence to budgets and payment cycles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and client interactions.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and marketing ROI.
• Analyze and adjust strategies to meet sales targets effectively. "
