Sr. Vice President - Gov. Regulators / Corporate Affairs / CSR
- As the SVP Public Policy & Government Advocacy, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute strategic initiatives that foster positive relationships between client and government entities.
- This role involves navigating legislative landscapes, influencing public policy, and advocating for the company's interests at various levels of government.
Here's a summary of the key responsibilities:
What you'll do:
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing corporate affairs strategies aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Stake Holder Relations:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, community leaders, and other external partners.
Public Relations and Communication:
- Oversee public relations initiatives, including media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the client Image.
Government Relations:
- Monitor and navigate government policies and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Engage with government officials and lobby on behalf of client interests.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- Lead CSR initiatives and ensure the company is actively involved in socially responsible activities.
- Develop and maintain a positive corporate image in the community.
Government Advocacy:
- Develop and implement strategies to advocate for the organization's interests with government officials, agencies, and legislative bodies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure the company's perspectives are considered in policy discussions.
What you'll bring:
- 15+ years in Leadership role across industries like Alcohol, Real estate, Pharma, Telecom, Mining, Manufacturing, Media
- Focusing on industries and sectors similar to ours from complexity standpoint and have had evolving regulatory framework with a need to manage government relationship at both central and state level
