Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PHP Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience in Laravel and Moodle . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend development, database management, and integration with third-party tools. They will be responsible for building robust and scalable applications, enhancing Moodle functionalities, and maintaining seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: Backend Development:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel .
- Customize and extend functionalities in Moodle to meet project requirements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools with Laravel and Moodle systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
Database Management:
- Design, optimize, and manage database schemas for MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Ensure efficient data retrieval and storage processes in Moodle and Laravel applications.
Maintenance and Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Provide regular updates and ensure smooth functionality of Moodle-based systems.
Code Quality and Best Practices:
- Adhere to best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving team workflows.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in PHP development with Laravel and Moodle.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Laravel framework for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Moodle customization, plugins, and module development.
- Proficiency in PHP , JavaScript , HTML5 , and CSS3 .
- Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
- Experience with version control systems like Git .
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with web server configurations (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of LMS platforms and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
