Key Responsibilities

1. Spray Painting Operations:
• Oversee and operate spray paint booths and equipment to ensure proper application of paint on manufactured products.
• Monitor and control paint viscosity, air pressure, and spray gun settings for optimal performance.
2. Paint Defect Analysis:
• Conduct detailed analysis of paint defects such as peeling, blistering, or uneven coatings.
• Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Quality Control:
• Perform inspections of painted surfaces to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.
• Use tools like gloss meters, thickness gauges, and adhesion testers to assess coating quality.
• Maintain records of inspection data and prepare quality reports for management.
4. Maintenance and Calibration:
• Perform regular maintenance of spray guns, booths, and other paint shop equipment.
• Ensure proper calibration of machines and tools to avoid inconsistencies in paint application.
5. Material Management:
• Oversee the inventory of paints, thinner, and dyes to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure proper storage of materials as per safety and environmental regulations.
6. Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for process optimization to enhance paint quality and reduce wastage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean Manufacturing practices.
7. Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during operations.
• Conduct safety audits and implement measures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
