Global Injection Mold Shop Floor Analyst

Role & responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Optimization:

• Develop and execute efficient production plans, ensuring same-material and same-machine allocations to minimize setup times

• Implement rapid changeover techniques, including fast piping and ejector systems, to enhance operational efficiency.

• Integrate robotics for component lifting and regrinding processes to improve automation and reduce manual handling.

2. Real-Time Monitoring & Analysis:

• Utilize the InTouch real-time production monitoring system to track and analyze shop floor data across global factories.

• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using real-time data insights.

• Collaborate with factory teams to implement changes based on monitoring outputs.

3. KPI Development & Reporting:

• Define, track, and consolidate KPIs for injection mold shop floors globally, focusing on productivity, cycle times, and downtime reduction.

• Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards using advanced spreadsheet tools to senior management.

4. Global Coordination & Support:

• Serve as the central point of contact for injection mold efficiency initiatives across all global locations.

• Work closely with production teams in different factories to standardize best practices

Preferred candidate profile :

• Proficient in advanced spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with real-time production monitoring systems, preferably InTouch or similar.
• Knowledge of automation systems, including robotics and injection molding machinery
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Experience working with or supporting multiple factories across regions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with diverse global teams.
• A proactive and self-driven approach to managing tasks and delivering results.
• Experience of working in Automotive/Manufacturing organization would be preferred .
