Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Technical Trainer specializing in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality training to students on key concepts, tools, and techniques used in data analytics and business intelligence. This includes teaching students how to analyze, interpret, and visualize data to drive informed business decisions. The role will involve preparing students for careers in data science, analytics, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Delivery:
• Conduct engaging and comprehensive training sessions on Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence concepts.
• Teach students to work with analytics tools and software such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, SAS, and other relevant platforms.
• Focus on real-world applications of analytics in decision-making, predictive analysis, and business insights.
2. Curriculum & Material Development:
• Develop and update course materials for Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence programs, ensuring they reflect current trends and industry standards.
• Design hands-on exercises, case studies, projects, and quizzes that enhance student learning and practical application of skills.
• Create learning resources such as presentations, worksheets, and online resources that facilitate effective learning.
3. Student Support & Mentorship:
• Provide personalized mentoring and support to students working on assignments, projects, and coursework related to data analytics and business intelligence.
• Guide students through real-time data analysis projects, helping them clean, analyze, and visualize data to extract valuable insights.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions to help students with problem-solving and troubleshooting in data analytics tools and techniques.
4. Assessments & Evaluation:
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, quizzes, and hands-on projects, focusing on their ability to apply analytics and business intelligence concepts.
• Provide timely feedback to students, identifying areas for improvement and offering actionable recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, ensuring transparency and fairness in grading.
5. Industry Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
• Collaborate with industry experts to ensure the curriculum stays relevant to the latest trends and tools in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Organize guest lectures, webinars, workshops, and industry visits to expose students to real-world applications of analytics and business intelligence.
• Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding challenges, and internships to gain hands-on industry experience.
6. Research & Continuous Learning:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence, including new tools, techniques, and industry practices.
• Integrate the latest research and technologies into training sessions and encourage students to explore innovative solutions.
7. Workshops & Technical Events:
• Lead workshops, coding challenges, and boot camps to further enhance students practical skills in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Support the universitys career services by preparing students for industry placements, including resume-building, interview coaching, and project presentations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or training in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Hadoop, Spark, etc.
• Experience in real-world data analysis projects or a strong background in data-driven decision-making.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and languages (Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Deep understanding of Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Intelligence concepts, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Ability to design and deliver interactive, engaging training sessions to students at various skill levels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, understandable terms.
• Experience with databases, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and other data management systems is a plus.
