Senior Product Manager - CPaaS

About Organization Division:

Rakuten CPaaS platform is designed to help enterprises connect with their customers through various communication channels including SMS, voice, and more. Our platform offers a comprehensive set of APIs that make it easy for enterprises to integrate messaging and other communication capabilities into their existing systems.

Job Duties:

Be a part of the Rakuten Symphony core Product Management team. Work closely with development team in agile manner to release new features and enhancement for CPaaS Product.
Work in a global team spread across Japan, India and UK in different time zones. Open to off hour availability due to work as required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into features.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design mockups and prototypes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Develop and execute the product strategy for the CPaaS platform, including defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and managing the product backlog.
• Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify new features and improvements to the platform.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, business operations and customer success to ensure the successful development and launch of new features and updates to the platform.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and updates to the platform.
• Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the success of the platform and identify areas for improvement.
• Act as a product evangelist, promoting the platform to customers, partners, and industry events.

Must have Qualification:

• Experience with CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Services)
• Experience with Communication Channel, SMS, Messaging, OTT, Email

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product management, with proven experience in developing and launching API based CPaaS features
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work with remote teams in different time zones.
• Ability to take a full responsibility over a task/feature and deliver it with high quality from beginning to end independently.
• Ability to write detailed technical product specification for backend and front end by communicating with stakeholders
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to support product decisions.
• Experience with Web Application for Enterprise.
• Experience with Database, CRM, Marketing Analytics Product.
• Experience with Communication, API, cloud - based products.
