Responsibilities:
Welding Work:

Perform welding tasks using processes such as MIG, TIG, SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), or Gas Welding.
Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials.
Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Understand welding symbols and diagrams to carry out precise welding operations.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on welding tools and machinery.
Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards.
Address any defects, such as porosity, undercut, or cracks, by re-welding or other necessary corrections.
Safety Practices:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
Material Preparation:

Prepare workpieces for welding by cutting, cleaning, and aligning as required.
Use grinders, saws, and other tools for material preparation.
