We are seeking a dedicated Support Engineer with expertise in CAD systems and manufacturing quality who is eager to learn and adapt to new software technologies. In this role, you will provide technical support, implement new software solutions, and deliver training to customers. The position involves regular travel to client sites and requires a proactive approach to problem solving and knowledge transfer
Responsibilities
Technical Support & Implementation: Provide technical support for software applications and assist with the implementation of software solutions at client sites.
Customer Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to customers on new software and manufacturing quality practices. Ensure clients are proficient in utilizing our solutions effectively.
Travel Requirements: Travel to client locations as needed to provide on-site support, training, and implementation services. Flexibility for occasional travel is required.
Software Learning: Quickly learn and master new software technologies and updates. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CAD and manufacturing technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to address design and production issues, providing solutions that enhance product quality and efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including training materials, user guides, and best practice guidelines related to software and quality processes.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software and manufacturing processes, providing timely and effective solutions.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and a solid understanding of CAD file formats and standards.
Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience.
Strong background in manufacturing quality processes and quality control methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to client sites for training and support
Preferred Skills
Certification in CAD software or quality management systems.
Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations related to manufacturing quality.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques for quality assessment and improvement
