Role Overview
The Manager - Solutions is a customer-facing techno-commercial role, responsible for managing the solution sales cycle in close collaboration with the Sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of Data Center technologies, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions that align with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Solutioning:
- Understand customer requirements and map them to STT GDC India's products and services.
- Own the end-to-end solutioning process, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Technical Solution Design & Execution:
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Delivery, and Finance teams to design optimized solutions at the right price.
- Develop and analyze Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Schematics, CFD Analysis, Breaker Discrimination Studies, and other key technical documents.
- Strong expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, and Security components of Data Centers.
- Understanding of Racks, Power Distribution, Structured Cabling, DC Partitioning, Redundancy Standards, and DC Design Best Practices.
Solution Selling & Customer Engagement:
- Deliver high-quality proposals and technical documentation, including standalone services.
- Engage in technical pre-sales discussions, articulating value propositions and differentiating STT GDC's solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them understand the best-fit solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, OEMs, and vendors, leveraging industry insights to enhance solution offerings.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Own the solution throughout the sales cycle and ensure seamless handover to the delivery team.
- Support project execution during delivery phases in case of scope changes or unforeseen implementation challenges.
Desired Profile:
Education & Experience:
Qualification: Degree in Engineering
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in Data Center solutions.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, electrical & mechanical components, safety, and security.
- Expertise in SLDs, CFD Analysis, Power Distribution, and Data Center Partitioning.
- Strong technical understanding of DC standards, redundancies, and structured cabling.
Soft Skills:
