Location: Chennai

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-driven Marketing Head to lead the marketing department for our real estate company, specializing in promoting apartments in the budget range of ₹90 lakhs to ₹1.5 crore in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of both digital and physical marketing strategies, with a proven track record in leading marketing teams, developing innovative marketing campaigns, and driving brand growth. You will be responsible for establishing a strong marketing presence, crafting strategic initiatives, and ensuring a successful customer acquisition strategy to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
    • Formulate a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote apartments within the target budget of ₹90 lakhs to ₹1 crore in the Chennai region.
    • Oversee both digital and traditional marketing channels to maximize lead generation and brand presence.
    • Identify and leverage key trends, market demands, and competitor activity to enhance marketing performance.
  2. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
    • Ensure effective collaboration between the marketing team and other departments like sales, customer service, and design.
    • Set clear objectives, track performance, and develop training and growth opportunities for the marketing team.
  3. Digital Marketing Management:
    • Drive digital marketing efforts across social media platforms, paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), SEO, email marketing, content marketing, and online reputation management.
    • Analyze digital marketing campaigns' performance and optimize for better ROI and lead conversion.
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  4. Traditional Marketing & Offline Strategy:
    • Oversee traditional marketing channels like print media, TV, radio, and outdoor advertising.
    • Develop and execute event marketing, site visits, and other on-ground promotional activities.
    • Coordinate with media partners and agencies to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality creative output.
  5. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions, improve targeting, and refine strategies.
  6. Brand Management:
    • Ensure the company's brand and reputation are strengthened and consistently communicated.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand equity and market presence.
  7. Budget Management:
    • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve the highest return on investment.
    • Regularly track spending and adjust strategies based on results and market dynamics.
  8. Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Provide regular reports on marketing performance, KPIs, and key metrics to senior management.
  9. Sales Enablement:
    • Work closely with the sales team to generate high-quality leads, improve conversion rates, and increase sales opportunities.
    • Develop marketing materials, presentations, and other assets to support sales efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on real estate, property development, or similar industries.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a marketing team, setting up processes, and driving successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content, Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in budget management and ROI analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Chennai real estate market is a significant advantage.

  5. Brand Positioning and Market Research:
    • Oversee the positioning and messaging of the company’s brand in the Chennai real estate market.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  6. Sales and Marketing Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals and improve conversion rates.
    • Create sales enablement materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  7. Budget Management:
    • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment.
    • Regularly track spending and adjust campaigns accordingly to meet business goals.
  8. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare detailed marketing reports for senior management to track the success of campaigns and initiatives.
    • Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and improve overall performance.
