Job description:

Rain Cements, a thirty-seven-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is looking for an experienced Food Technologist to join its team and lead the function at its integrated cement manufacturing plants.

Role & responsibilities

• Implement and maintain condition monitoring systems, including vibration analysis, thermography, Wear Debris Analysis, Ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing, Hardness and wear measurements, Static & Dynamic Balancing and Laser Alignments.
• Analyse data to identify trends and predict potential equipment failures.
• Develop and optimize predictive maintenance strategies to reduce operational costs.
• Conduct Root cause analysis for equipment failures and provide actionable recommendations.
• Train maintenance personnel and operators on condition monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring systems into existing processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding machinery performance.
• Document monitoring activities, findings, and corrective actions taken.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in condition monitoring, preferably in the cement or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Level-II certification in vibration analysis is required
• Proficient in condition monitoring tools and techniques, including vibration analysis and thermography.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and associated equipment is preferred.
