Job Description

- Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance
- Responsible for overseeing the entire accounting and financial operations
- Specific knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis in a manufacturing context.
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and report on variances between actual costs and budgeted costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with production and operations teams to forecast costs and revenue.
- Oversee inventory accounting and valuation, ensuring accurate reporting of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with the supply chain and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stock obsolescence.
- Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring that the team is well-trained, motivated, and capable of meeting the company's accounting needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic financial plans that align with the companys long-term objectives.
- Contribute to identifying areas for growth or cost savings within manufacturing operations.
