- Collaborate with project managers, developers, creative teams and customer support staff to manage content for career sites
- D ow n load /transfer content (images and text) from various sources including W ord, E xcel and /or design files ( ex: Photoshop, Zeplin ) into web page s
- E diting existing web page content within career site platform using content management admin tools and WYSIWYG editors
- Optimize i mages using online tools ( such as TinyPNG ) to reduce the file size of WEBP, JPEG and PNG files Upload assets (such as image , video) into c areer site platform based on asset library structure
- C reate new web pages using pre-built template s , components, and modules in accordance with clients brand standards
- Conduct and/or assist with t esting , including the use of automated tools
- Publish tested and approved web content to production environments
- College degree preferred but not required
- Familiarity with web-related applications and programs
- Experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Experience managing content with a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor
- Basic u nderstanding of cross browser/device requirements and testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and independently solve problems, seeking help when necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team to ensure project goals are met
- Ability to manage time efficiently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate well with technical staff
- Familiarity with Content M anagement S ystems
- Comfort working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS
- Understanding of SEO and meta data
- Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and site performance best practices
- Knowledge of technologies used in web publishing such as content management systems, HTML editors, browsers, newsreaders, blogs, and graphics manipulation software
- Experience working with WordPress or similar Content Management System s
- Experience with or exposure to JIRA or similar workflow management tools
