Data Warehouse Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ETL development, SQL, and data modeling to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Data Warehouse Development: Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions to support business reporting and analytics.
✅ ETL Development: Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Informatica, Talend, or SSIS for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
✅ Data Modeling: Develop and maintain star/snowflake schemas and ensure optimal data structure for reporting.
✅ Performance Tuning: Monitor and enhance query performance, indexing, and partitioning for optimized data retrieval.
✅ Data Integrity & Governance: Implement data validation, quality checks, and governance best practices to ensure data accuracy.
✅ BI Collaboration: Work closely with BI teams to integrate data warehouse solutions with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
✅ Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve data inconsistencies, ETL failures, and performance bottlenecks.
✅ Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices in managing sensitive information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

🔹 4-6 years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL Development, and SQL Optimization.
🔹 Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse).
🔹 Expertise in ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS and scripting (Python, Shell, or Bash).
🔹 Experience in database performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
🔹 Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
