Position: Software Engineer

JD:

Technical

• Development languages: .Net C# and WPF (required), Python (nice-to-have)
• Database: SQL, others nice-to-have
• Experience with application architecture design and development
• Experience in working in a service-oriented architecture framework
• Experience integrating with cloud infrastructure platforms, in particular Microsoft Azure
• Mature understanding and experience with Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices and solutions
• Be able to perform technical validation of solutions and code reviews, while mentoring less experience staff
• Test-driven development skills and experience
• Understand and provide insights on emerging industry trends.

Functional

• Experience with sourcing data from, and integrating with, core investment and/or market data platforms
• Knowledge / experience in financial markets and main asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, FX)
• Knowledge /experience with portfolio management (buy-side investments)

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering
• Minimum 5 years working within financial services (required) within the front office and/or buy-side / investment management space (preferred)
• Bachelors or masters Degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience
• Experience with the design of technical solutions to solve complex problems
• Experience in engaging and interacting with business stakeholders
• Experience in actively participating in high-impact business change projects or systems implementations involving requirements gathering, business solution design, business process improvement and/or solution delivery
