Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the dual role of People Manager and Technical Lead. This unique position requires a blend of strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring and developing teams. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, drive technical excellence, and ensure team engagement and career development.

What You Will Do:

As a People Manager:

• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
• Act as a coach and mentor to team members, empowering them to achieve their career aspirations.
• Drive team engagement and promote a continuous improvement mindset.
• Manage team capacity and allocate resources effectively to meet organizational goals.
• Address team challenges promptly and ensure overall team well-being.

As a Technical Lead:

• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Define and enforce best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering teams.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, recommending relevant adoption.
• Serve as a point of escalation for technical challenges faced by the team.

What to Bring:

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in software development with expertise in Java and Pl SQL].
• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and grow engineering teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflicts.
• Adept at balancing technical depth with business acumen.
• Experience in capacity planning and resource management.

Additional Details

• Visa Sponsorship : Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
