Position: Team Lead (Content & Delivery)

Job Overview:The Lead - Content will be responsible for designing, setting up, and operating content development and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms. This role involves leading content creation efforts, managing a multidisciplinary team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Development & LMS Platform: Lead the design, setup, and operational management of the content development process and the Learning Management System (LMS) platform to ensure seamless delivery of training programs and learning content.
• Content Creation & Development: Lead the creation, development, and curating of high-quality content, ensuring that it is engaging, relevant, and aligned with learning objectives and organizational goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of software developers, architects, and UI/UX designers to create an innovative and user-friendly content delivery platform. Foster collaboration within the team to meet deadlines and ensure project quality.
• Collaboration for Engaging Learning Experiences: Work closely with instructional designers, trainers, and subject matter experts to create compelling and interactive learning experiences that maximize learner engagement and knowledge retention.
• Platform Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the content development platform and LMS, ensuring that it is user-friendly, reliable, and effective in supporting learning objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all content is aligned with best practices for instructional design and is regularly updated to reflect industry changes, organizational needs, and technological advancements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly collaborate with stakeholders to understand their content needs and ensure alignment with business goals and training requirements.
• LMS support in BAU: Providing timely assistance to end-users (students, employees, or learners) regarding access issues, navigation, and troubleshooting.
• Logging, tracking, and resolving any technical issues or user complaints related to the LMS system.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading content development initiatives and working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, e-learning trends, and adult learning theories.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of software developers, UI/UX designers, and architects.
• Technical proficiency in content creation tools, platforms, and programming languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong understanding of LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS, etc.) and how to integrate content into them.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based content development tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) or custom content development tools.
• Certification in instructional design or related areas.
