Job Description
Lead a team of 6 - 8 members working in Linux BSP activity (Device Tree, Bootloader, Kernel, Peripheral Device Drivers etc
)
)
Technically lead the team in deciding the architecture and develop software/algorithms, adhering to planned schedule and quality
Work with PMand TA, software developers & testers, to prioritize requirements in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Review and ensure the quality of design and source code
Ensure on time delivery and quality of the deliverables
Comply with Performance and Quality standards for the project
Conduct self-review and peer review of work in the project
Interact with internal and external stake holders
Work Experience
Relevant experience working on Linux device drivers and bootloaders, and Linux BSP
Solid understanding in Linux Kernel internals (Processes, Threads, Synchronization, Scheduling, Deadlocks, IPC etc)
Understanding of embedded Linux (Yocto/OpenEmbedded) build system and cross-compilation
Good knowledge of any scripting language preferably Shell script or Python
Good knowledge about Embedded Systems boot process Multiple stage bootloaders (IPL, U-Boot), Kernel
Understanding of peripherals like GPIO, I2C, SPI, Timer, DMA, ADC, DAC, PWM, Interrupt controller etc
Experience with Linux working environment
Identify and allocate tasks based on priority, daily tracking and status report preparation
Good problem solving and communication skills
