Job Description
Android Platform Developer with expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and optimize software platforms for android automotive based Digital cockpit systems
- Contribute in software simulations and testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization to resolve software issues.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in automotive software engineering.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Platform development / BSP Customization for Automotive infotainment systems and Instrument Clusters
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in AAOS
- Experience in using Android SDK through HAL, V-HAL and CarApi extensions
- Proficiency in hypervisor-based systems in at least one of the following : QNX, OpenSynergy, Green Hills, Gunyah, or Xen.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with automotive development processes and tools (e.g., AUTOSAR, DOORS, Vector tools).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering automotive projects from concept to production.
