Job Description

A Lead Materials Co-ordinator with strong Mechanical background, who has good exposure on Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics Management, Procurement, Materials and Continuous Improvement for oil gas, refinery, petrochemical, and power plants.

Should be able to Lead, guide and train/ develop the peers/ subordinates.
Solely responsible for managing the required resources to support the materials management activities, like receipt of materials, storage of materials, distribution of materials, ordering supplies that are needed, scheduling deliveries, Managing the companys inventory.
Should be able to support cross-discipline functionality and other work processes like maintenance operations planning and shutdown team.

Work Experience

Bachelordegree in mechanical engineering from 12 to 15 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical and oil and gas industries.
Possess knowledge of various types of equipment installed in On-Shore, Off-shore facilities, Rig-lines and platforms.
He will support production, wells and projects organizations.
Verify materials received from vendors, inspect for quality, and enter data into the computer system.
Should be able to perform Material master/ BOM creation, Material cataloguing, grouping and coding, Criticality assessment (BOM, Insurance/ capital spares criticality classification-based criticality)
Spares optimization, Consumption and material inventory monitoring, planned unplanned requirements tracking, monitoring of material returns.
Collaborate/ Work with departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and assess all materials delivered to the production unit.
Generate reports for all materials and handle their transportation from one department to another and create computerised production records.
Work with different units to guarantee material accountability.
Keep track of all sensitive data and create a suitable project schedule.
Keep track of materials status weekly.
Work together with the project team to plan all deliveries, handle delays and guarantee compliance with all material requests.
Create necessary reports for all the cost accounts and procurement to ensure the company meets accounts payable requirements.
Supports in meeting the annual and long-term goals as mentioned in the plans.

Able to prepare information and communication in a clear and concise manner for different audiences.
Think clearly during rapidly changing situations and respond to questions even when unexpected.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and improve company core values and business.
Continually improve technical and behavioural skills as they relate to this role through ongoing training and benchmarking activities.
Knows how organizations and industry work and how to obtain results through formal channels and informal networks.
Comprehends and integrates available data into usable formats to assist with work; Asks questions to understand problems and gathers information needed to identify cause.

Desired skills:

Drive standardization by material group/ category, improve Bills of Material, and Master Data utilization.
Establish strategic MRP settings in SAP to control growth of excess inventory or unwanted overstock.
Assist in creating a highly collaborative material control culture within the company.
Provide the Company with a demand and replenishment activity summary report.
He should Expedite and Coordinate.
He should have critical thinking and Analytical skills and with digital mindset.
SAP or Other digital material resource planning tools (i.e. Fiori, O365, Power BI, Amazon or another Company tool)
