Job Description
- Senior Engineer responsible for Android BSP and HAL design and development.
- Work in a team of self-motivated engineers and equally contribute for success of the project.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and be able to work independently.
- Requirements gathering and managing the requirements of the assigned modules.
- Provide estimates to assist the planning.
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with onsite support members and communicate the requirements to the offshore team.
- Review and ensure the quality of the design and source code.
- Conduct self-review and peer review of work in the project.
- Ensure on-time delivery and quality of the deliverables.
- Write and maintain Test Specifications and Test plan.
Work Experience
- Good Experience in Android architecture and AAOS.
- Experience in Porting/migrating Android HAL(HIDL/AIDL) to new SoC/System
- Experience in Bootloader, Linux Internals, Linux BSP and driver development
- Android HAL experience (Implementation, Porting)
- Graphics HAL Graphics framework
- Multimedia Framework and Audio/Video HAL
- Camera HAL (low priority)
- Experience with vehicle HAL
- Experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting development/porting of Android HAL.
- Good debugging skill
- Experience in Android/Linux Kernel BSP is a plus
- B. Tech/ M. Tech
