Maintenance Scheduler - Shutdown

An experienced Oil Gas Shutdown/Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive shutdown schedules to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of planned maintenance activities. This role requires a deep understanding of Oil Gas operations, project management principles, and scheduling methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to details, and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams. He must be familiar with MIS reporting.

• Develop detailed fully integrated turnaround project schedule across several operating assets with accurate task sequencing.
• Work closely with operating facilities and contractors to ensure turnaround schedule alignment and identify potential conflicts.
• Prepare and update Work plans, resource allocation plans, and timelines for shutdown operations.
• Ensure Ramp down start-up procedures are effectively sequenced, and resources levelled.
• Review work scope, materials and tools needed for scheduled activities. And analyze schedule data for error free clean schedule.
• Validate turnaround job scheduling is complete in all aspects.
• Maintain Scheduling industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to update current schedule status, identified risks, safety protocols implementation, project budget.
• Develop Critical Path analysis, Resource Histogram, Lookahead, Daily progress reporting with S-curves, Deviation reporting.
• Conduct Post-shutdown reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the schedule and identify areas for improvement.

• Bachelor degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical/relevant Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years Shutdown/Turnaround experience in scheduler role within Oil Gas Complex Facilities.
• Excellent working knowledge in Primavera P6 software, SAP, Excel (formulas, data analysis, Charts, Pivot table) is must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products such as Word, Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Having knowledge in schedule reporting apps/interfaces like STO, Power BI, Tableau, P50 P90 analysis, Oracle Team-member Analytics will be added advantage.
