Embedded Hardware Design Engineer in Automotive Domain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of embedded electronics design, with hands-on experience in the full hardware lifecycle, including schematic design, board bring-up, and design validation for automotive applications. The role requires expertise in EDA tools, communication protocols, memory systems, and advanced microcontroller designs, coupled with a strong focus on compliance, power estimation, and thermal management.

1 Expertise in IVI(In Vehicle Infotainment) system Must Have 2 Expertise in Audio system requirements Must Have 1 Proven experience in automotive embedded electronics design, including schematic design, BOM generation, and validation. Must Have 2 Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools (e. g. , Altium, OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics), Hands-on experience with PCB layout design principles. Must Have 3 Expertise in microcontrollers, SoCs, FPGAs, and high-speed digital design (DDR, SRAM, NAND/NOR SD cards). Must Have 4 Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (e. g. , LTSpice, PSpice, Simulink). Good To Have 5 Proficiency in various communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB, and PCIe. Must Have 6 Proficiency in wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth - Chip/Module selection, Antenna design and placement, RF-Design & Tuning, and regulatory compliance. Must Have 7 Skilled in interfacing displays, GPS ICs, and memory modules. Must Have 8 Expertise in power supply design, thermal management, and EMI/EMC compliance. Must Have 9 Skilled in thermal simulation ( using tools like Flotherm, ANSYS) and power/signal integrity analysis. Good To Have 10 Experience with voltage regulators, power management ICs, and robust EMC solutions. Good To Have 11 Proficiency in hardware debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyser, protocol analyser, JTAG). Good To Have 12 Proficiency in embedded C/C++, firmware optimization, bootloaders & integration with hardware, and update mechanisms. • Prepare design modules and conduct workshops to understand different requirements and technologies for HW domains such as Touch panel working, Embedded system design, Camera, and their sensors etc.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse hardware design requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Develop detailed design documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, and hardware architecture descriptions.

  • Identify and evaluate components based on technical specifications, cost, and availability.

  • Ensure the design adheres to relevant industry standards (e. g. , ISO 26262 for automotive systems).

  • Create prototypes and validate designs through simulation and physical testing.

  • Optimize hardware for performance, power consumption, thermal management, and cost.

  • Present and discuss emerging technologies relevant to hardware design through workshops.

  • Educate participants about design principles, tools, and methodologies, promoting best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging trends in Automotive electronics and embedded systems.
