Impact Dynamics Analysis using LS-Dyna

Work Experience

Required skill set:

1. Meshing (HM /NX)

2. LS-Dyna modelling and result post processing (LS -Pre post)

Experience required:

1. Extensive experience in meshing complex geometry while meeting impact dynamics FE standard (100% hex Mesh and complaint with GE Aerospace mesh quality)
2. Experience in LS-Dyna explicit dynamics analysis example, bird/ice ingestion analysis on airfoils.
3. Understanding of material properties and behavior under different loading conditions.
4. Detailed understanding of LS-Dyna analysis attributes like

Boundary condition

Material models

Control cards

Experience Desired:

1. Experience in aerospace/automobile/energy industry with sound knowledge of Mechanical/Structural Analysis.
2. Good Experience in explicit dynamics analysis.
3. Commitment to continuous learning.
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics of materials, structural analysis, and dynamics.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize FEA models for accuracy and efficiency.
6. Ability to document analysis processes, results, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
7. Ability to develop, modify and utilize LS-Prepost cfile, ANSYS APDL, Hypermesh, TCL/TK, etc.
