Instrumentation Engineer

Instrument and Control Design Engineer:

Background:

An Instrument and Control Engineer, will be a technical resource in performing Design for Instruments and Control System.

Requirement:

Instrument and Control Design Engineer should be responsible for following;

• To prepare Instrumentation & Control schematics, Wiring & Interconnecting drawings.

• To prepare Material List and MTOs for Instruments.

• To prepared 2D Layouts, 3D Model for Instruments.

• To prepare Installation details drawings (Hook-up).

• To prepare Plant Control System Architecture and Philosophy definition.

• To Plant Control Panels Requisition Activities.

• To validate Software & Should be able to take part in FAT.

• To design Station Control Panel, Emergency Shut Down, Fire & Gas, Distributed Control System.

• Provides Inputs to Unit Control Panel for plant functionalities.

• Need to take part in Energy Management System in collaboration with Electrical Discipline

• To prepare requisition for Control system and field instruments such as Control and On/ Off Valves, Pressure Safety Valves, Flow Measurement Devices.

• To prepare Installation Design and 3D Model.

• Get Involved and performs vendors design follow-up for Packages like Control Cab/E-House, Waste Heat Recovery Unit, Heat Recovery Steam Generator, Skids, etc.

• To prepare Process Analysis Systems Requisition: Gas Chromatograph, CEMS, Water Analysis, etc.

• Fire & Gas Detection Philosophy, Devices Requisition, Installation Drawings/Schematics, 3D Model

• Instr. & Control Cables Requisition, List, Interconnection Schematics\u2026

• To liase with electrical discipline for Cable Routing common.

• To perform Control & Instrumentation System Design Review,

• To prepare Control Philosophy definition and Control Integration for Complex projects.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• Engineering degree (Instrument Discipline).

• 3 to 12 years of experience in related industry (refining/petrochemical/LNG/oil & gas).

• Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.

• Experience with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, interpreting vendor manuals,

• Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the -other teams

• Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Software/tools: ETAP, Autocad.

G ood to have skills:

• Exposure to oil & gas /Power Facilities Engineering activities.

• Process Gas Treatment / Carbon Capture Plants Analysis Systems Requisition: Gas Chromatograph, CEMS, Water Analysis, CO2 Concentration measurements, . . . In vapor and liquid applications.

• Experience with SharePoint for document management.
