Job Requirements

Role overview

The sales development & onboarding specialist will partner with the sales talent team to execute sales induction and training programs. This role will enable timely execution and coordination of key programs that support new hire success into sales, and capability building.

Primary responsibilities

Sales induction & onboarding

  • Coordinate and Implement onboarding and induction programs for new hires in sales, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to succeed
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to execute end-to-end execution of induction & training
  • Leverage best practices, and explore opportunities continuously improve induction experiences
  • Ensure timely tracking, monitoring of key induction success measures to showcase impact and value
  • Sales training & development
  • Partner with sales to execute training programs that strengthen sales capability & readiness
  • Curate & ensure readiness of online curriculums, content development initiatives, and execute sales training calendar for prioritized programs and certifications
  • Leverage facilitators and SMEs internally to support program design, and ensure on-time execution of all initiatives
  • Support training needs conversations with internal stakeholders, and ensure maintenance of all training records
  • Review & monitor feedback, and explore opportunities to continuously improve learning experiences 
  • Drive execution of special purpose initiatives such as sales recognition and others where applicable
Work Experience

Key skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, psychology; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in supporting sales functions on training, content development, etc.
  • Experience working on LMS/LXP systems is an added plus
  • Comfortable working with cfts and teams across functions and levels
  • Comfortable partnering with stakeholders across levels, functions, and geographies
  • Strong program / project management, critical thinking, and systems thinking is a must
  • Self-starter. Hands on. Must be proactive, independent and resourceful, with a ‘can do’ Attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often virtual environment, with strong multi-tasking and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Confident and articulate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Desire to evolve, learn and grow – aspiration, humility, and hunger
