Civil and Structural Designer - Tekla

Job Requirements

• Develop civil and structural drawings, models, and layouts for waste water treatment facilities using Tekla & Advance steel.
• Design foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, platforms, and steel structures based on engineering inputs.
• Ensure compliance with AISC, IS, ASTM, BS, and other relevant codes.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, piping, and mechanical engineers to ensure design compatibility.
• Conduct clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of quantities (BOQ) for procurement and cost estimation.
• Provide support during construction, fabrication, and site installation.

Work Experience

• Diploma / Associate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures, Advance steel, AutoCAD & Navisworks
• Strong knowledge of steel structure detailing.
• Experience working with offshore platforms, pipelines, and waste water treatment plants is a plus.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
