Job Description

The Quest Diagnostics CoE Lead Talent Acquisition Partner IT is responsible for Leading and driving the TA function and support business needs. This role includes Leading a team of Talent Acquisition members, planning and implementing recruitment strategies, client & stakeholder management and the identification of talent via passive recruitment strategies.


Required Work Experience:


  • 10 Plus years of full cycle recruiting experience in a corporate talent acquisition / recruiting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and closing passive candidates
  • Experience working with various ATS systems
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to successfully close passive candidates
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Understanding of employment laws and general HR practices
  • Strong technical skills and IT hiring knowledge
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, and HRIS programs.

Education: Masters Degree in Human Resources, Management or business-related field


Talent Acquisition


  • Lead and supervise the recruiting team members and responsible for their performance, hiring, coaching, development, & load balancing.
  • Guide and coach Recruiters to accurately target talents and screening candidates as part of the assessment process
  • Plan, coordinate and be involved in regular local Recruitment Drives (in-person and virtual)
  • Support the organizations Diversity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
  • Provide feedback of market information to Business and HR Business Partners, such as common market practices or major movements of talents etc.
  • Involve in regional and global projects as part of the People and Talent Acquisition team
  • Develop recruiting strategies for long term and sustained growth to meet technical and nob-technical hiring needs
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics and SOW.
  • Hire Top Talent to meet the business needs in GIC & Provides a consultative approach to hiring managers during the selection process (i.e candidate selection, recommendation, etc.)
  • Designing and implementing strategic hiring procedures (Intake calls with the hiring managers, Job application Interview process, candidate and hiring manager survey and onboarding processes)
  • Ensuring compliance to the recruitment process (ensure all the steps are followed, done timely, Effective usage of online tools)
  • Talent Mapping for critical positions and escalation management.
  • Background Reference check process
  • Understand the training needs of Hiring Managers and arrange training sessions to upskill Hiring Managers on recruitment process and efficient Interviewing practices, Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Float and evaluate RFPs from the hiring vendor partners and finalizing the Vendor partner to meet Quests Hiring goals.
  • To Build strong relationship with onsite hiring managers to understand their requirement and providing insight on India hiring trends and Processes.
  • Stays up to date and current on best practices related to recruiting process, sourcing strategy and ways to improve effectiveness of recruiting while recommending best practices and new tools, sharing the market intelligence, data analytics & reporting to the stakeholders and Management.
  • Presenting Talent Acquisition updates to the Leadership management.
  • Attend conferences, recruitment events, and professional events to develop talent acquisition relationships while building candidate pipelines
  • Create and implement data-driven practices to optimize hiring performance.
  • Hands on recruitment experience required
  • Understanding of various technologies would be a plus

Process Enhancement


  • Improve referral programs, interviewing, onboarding and related processes to enhance overall candidate experience
  • List all the Hiring, BGV, Induction, Onboarding, Exit and Documentation Process Improvement and develop the guidelines
  • Design policies and Manuals (Ex: Referral Policy, Dress code, Relocation, Staggered, Hot skill, Sign-on Bonus, Internal Job Policy etc.)
  • Implementing Global Candidate experience Project in GIC
  • Create an Interview Evaluation Sheet, Hiring Manager sheets, Job mapping sheets
  • Work on setting up Interview Panel’s and develop Competency Based Interviewing Questioner and work on STAR based Interviewing

Talent Attraction and Talent Branding


  • Promote GIC on Social Media Platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn etc) and print media(Newspaper ad, Hoardings)
  • Work on Glassdoor awareness and reviews
  • To create GIC career page on intranet
  • Contribution to global careers page as and when required
  • External recognition (Awards) for GIC as one of the best places to work
  • Internal Branding through Employee Engagement and Referral Campaign
  • Monitor social handles and publish engaging employment brand focused content
  • Collaborate with Global TA teams to create and maintain TA strategy
  • Building / nurturing relationships with colleges / universities to attract / hire interns and freshers
