Manager Software Engineering

Role & responsibilities

Solution Architecture:

Design end-to-end solutions for new features, considering scalability, performance, security, installation, and integration requirements.

Technical Leadership:

Lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of complex web applications, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Innovation and Best Practices:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices to help drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical strategies, prioritize features, and establish product roadmaps.

Quality:

Lead by example in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the codebase.

Collaborate with QA/QE teams to implement robust testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Quanum ECS product.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Create technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and implementation guides. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions within the team to promote continuous learning and skill development.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Work Experience:

• Extensive experience (12+ years) in software development, with a focus on full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Extensive experience in frontend development using React / Angular (preferably Angular 2+), including advanced components, services, routing, and state management.
• Proven experience in solution architecture and design.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend build tools.
• Experience in GitHub/GitLab/any other source control tools
• Experience in Developing in microservices and Rest API
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins/Other tools and deploying applications using it.

Preferred Work Experience:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
