Senior Social Media Specialist (2-5 yrs)

Role overview:

As a Social Media Specialist, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to grow the brand on social platforms doing more than just posting, but identifying opportunities and building relationships to generate qualified opportunities and customer engagement.

- This position will work closely with the Social Media stakeholders and other team members to develop and execute a range of social media and marketing campaigns to help shape, promote and expand the brand.

- Assist in the planning and implementation of every day and long term social media campaigns.

- Plan and maintain digital initiatives and posting schedules across all online platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns end to end - to align on objectives, planning, delivery and measurement.

- Build creative campaigns for new brand/product launches, sales and special offers.

- Engage with followers, plan contests and giveaways. Attend external and internal events and assist with social media coverage.

- Collect and report digital analytics using native platforms and tools.

- Leverage data to build action plans around rapid response and influencer activation, collaborating with comms and marketing leads

Must've:

- 2-5 years of experience in a Marketing function

- Proficiency with various social media platforms - LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter

- A strong understanding of content and social media

- Should have excellent time management, planning skills and have the ability to adhere to strict schedules and deadlines

- Data-driven and proven ability to analyse data for insights and experience with reporting

- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and has an eye for detail and structure.

- Brings creative, fresh, and innovative approaches to drive initiatives.

- You are naturally social - both across social media and IRL
