Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Golang to help design, build, and scale our next-generation MLOps platform. You will play a crucial role in improving system reliability, scalability, and performance while contributing to architectural decisions and implementing innovative features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Golang.
• Architect and implement robust distributed systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Optimize system bottlenecks through profiling and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain data-driven ML inference pipelines leveraging Kafka.
• Enhance internal development, testing, and deployment infrastructure for improved team productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and address customer requirements.
• Maintain high code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and regular dependency upgrades.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of backend development experience with a strong track record in building and maintaining complex systems.
• Proficiency in Golang with experience in designing and implementing scalable applications.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for building real-time data streaming applications.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Ability to debug, profile, and optimize large-scale backend systems.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with the Operator Pattern using Kubebuilder or Operator SDK.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts or a willingness to learn.
• Working knowledge of Python.
