Test Lead

Responsibilities: - Assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand project requirements and develop test cases.- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report findings to ensure that software meets functional, performance, and security standards.- Maintain and update test scripts to adapt to changes in software applications.- Document and track test results, bugs, and feature enhancements in a version control system (e.g., JIRA).- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) by integrating automated tests into build pipelines.- Conduct exploratory and manual testing to identify bugs and ensure functionality where automation is not possible.- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions to improve automation strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.- Basic understanding of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or any other relevant tools.- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).- Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycle.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic knowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and libraries.- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.- Exposure to web service and API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).- Hands on experience in katalon studio tool.
