Abhiwan Technology - Quality Analyst - Functional/Regression Testing (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.

- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

- Utilize testing tools and methodologies to effectively identify and document defects.

- Track and manage defects in bug tracking systems.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks.

- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the test automation framework.

- Ensure that software products meet defined quality standards and user expectations.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and generate comprehensive test reports.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified defects.

- Effectively communicate testing status, issues, and risks to the development team and stakeholders.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with testing tools (e., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman).

- Experience with SQL and databases is a plus.

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
