Switch Application Architect

We are seeking a visionary SWITCH Application Architect and Strategist to lead the development and strategic direction of SWITCH applications, ensuring seamless and secure transaction processing within the acquiring (ATM, POS, eCommerce, branch, and internet banking) and health claiming (HiCAPS) domains. This role emphasizes strategic planning, thought leadership, and mentorship, requiring the candidate to drive innovation and shape the future of our SWITCH systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Development : Formulate and execute strategic plans for the development and enhancement of SWITCH applications to meet business objectives and industry standards within the acquiring and health claiming services domains.

- Leadership and Mentorship : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

- Thought Leadership : Act as a thought leader in the field, staying abreast of industry trends and technologies to ensure the SWITCH system remains cutting-edge and aligned with best practices.

- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and strategic initiatives.

- Software Development and Innovation : Oversee the design, testing, and documentation of software enhancements and modifications, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.

- Issue Resolution : Lead the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SWITCH functionality, ensuring minimal disruption to transaction processing.

- Integration and Interoperability : Collaborate with other developers and architects to ensure seamless integration of SWITCH applications with existing systems and platforms.

Qualifications Experience :

- Extensive experience in developing and enhancing SWITCH applications with a proven track record of strategic leadership within the acquiring (ATM, POS, eCommerce, branch, and internet banking) and health claiming (HiCAPS) services domains.

- Demonstrated experience in designing, testing, and documenting complex software systems.

- Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively.

- Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.

- Strong background in integrating applications with existing systems.
