Financial Analyst, Staff

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Masters = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

About GBFS Team: The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provide support to HQ and global regional team on Finance & Business Operation activities.

This job role required to support and manage finance related activities FP&A, Investor relations, QTL Finance, Opex and reporting, Product costing, Product Pricing & system updates, Software Billing, etc.

Job Overview:

• Individual Responsibilities to ensure accurately and timely deliverables of (transactional and analytics) - month-end activities and reporting, financial packages and reporting, system updates on pricing activities, software billing, FP&A tie-out decks, Investor relations related activities and QTL Finance.
• Ensure to provide timely support on Costing activities - Inventory Forecast & reporting, E&O analysis, AUC reporting, etc.
• Required to do detailed analysis of company earnings release notifications along with Analyst views and peers earning summary.
• Closely work with QTL Finance team to ensure thorough analysis of Industry News (daily weekly), QCOM earning script, FX rates update
• Support stakeholders with budgeting forecast process, outlooks, prepare and analyze monthly operating expense reports, variance analysis.
• A detailed and thorough mindset is needed in this role to support processor analyst in order to improve the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of activities with complete ownership and accountability.
• Working closely with HQ and global region teams with regular interaction to reviews, drive transition calls, process documentation for all activities.
• Individual will require to take evening calls for reviews and transition of activities.
• Individual will require to ensure timely & quality delivery of early morning activities related to RF360 Finance.
• Perform additional ad hoc finance activities from time to time.

Requirements:

• 10+ years relevant industry experience in finance FP&A activities
• Experience in managing the team and evaluate & assess their team members' work on a regular basis.
• Excellent Advance Excel Skills with Macro (VBA) added advantage.
• Ability to focus on details, multitasking and perform activities timely with quality output.
• Planning & prioritization of work assigned
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskills with tools Tableau, Power BI etc.
