General Summary:
DVC IPLL vertical has New and Enhancement requests in pipeline for Tableau Dashboards and Advanced Vizualisations, along with Qlikview Sustaining activities.
This position is for a Tableau Developer, Sr in support of Qualcomm IPLL projects. Candidate will be responsible for developing solutions in Tableau & Qlikview with expertise in Advanced Vizualisations including extensive experience in sourcing, processing, managing & distributing visual reports using database source for key stakeholders in data-centered environments.
Candidate is expected to be highly analytical and process-oriented with in-depth knowledge of Tableau, Qlikview Python, Data Model development, Data Analysis and Data Exploration, Self Service Analytics using Tableau.Good understanding of business environment, excellent communication skill and ability to work in a fast environment.
This FTE position will take up the Reporting & Analytics activity in IP Legal & Licensing.This position acts as one of the key resources to take the up the complete development activity with strong dedication & attain functional expertise & will assist the team in data delivery, data quality, etc. in all phases/cycles of business intelligence, data warehouse, and Advanced Analytics.Good to have knowledge in Legal Domain.
Database and Datawarehousing expertise.Data Integration and Programming LanguageAnalytical and Advanced Dashboarding Skills.Strong Knowledge in SQLKnowledge of disparate data sources/data types,Strong Datamodeling skillsProgramming language like PythonData vizualization skills using Tableau and Qlikview.Good to possess knowledge in IP and Legal Domain
Minimum Qualifications:
"¢ 3+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR
5+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor"™s degree.
"¢ 1+ year of experience with Database Design structures such as Mongo DB, MySQL.
'"¢ Analytical Skills - The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes the ability to gather, integrate, and interpret information from several sources. "¢ Applications - Basic knowledge of application architecture specifically related to performance and troubleshooting. "¢ Automation - The ability to use scripting and programming knowledge to code and create basic automation processes. "¢ Database Structuring - Basic to intermediate understanding of database design, and structuring of data for various business needs. "¢ Decision Making - The ability to make quick, accurate decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and take into account the impact of the decisions on people, equipment, or other resources. "¢ Documentation - The ability to document solutions to basic IT issues by using standard policies and procedures. "¢ Root Cause Analysis - The ability to understand the cause of an issue and contribute to identifying the appropriate solution. "¢ Taking Initiative - The ability to attack work activities with drive and energy, understand the impact of work on key metrics, and make decisions that are in the company's best interest. This includes not being afraid to initiate action before all the facts are known, and driving value-added work tasks to completion. "¢ Technical Documentation - The ability to appropriately document software and/or hardware specifications to promote knowledge transfer to other peers. "¢ Technical Troubleshooting - Knowledge of systematic approaches to solving common technical problems (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational). This includes the ability to identify problems and report and escalate problems according to established procedures, and the ability to identify available information resources for troubleshooting. "¢ Testing - Understanding of testing methodologies and testing-related tools.
