Sr. Data Analyst ( SQL + Tableau )

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL and Tableau, enabling effective data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to derive insights that inform business decisions, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.

Mandatory Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL for complex queries, data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
Data Visualization: Strong skills in Tableau for building comprehensive dashboards and reports.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze large datasets, interpret trends, and deliver actionable insights.
Communication: Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
Exposure to ETL processes and data warehousing.
Knowledge of advanced Excel functions for supplementary data analysis.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Industry experience in consulting, finance, or technology.

Responsibilities:
Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to support business decision-making.
Design and develop advanced SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis.
Create and maintain detailed, interactive Tableau dashboards for various business functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs, translating them into actionable insights and reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations.
Identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity by analyzing datasets and presenting insights.
Train and guide junior analysts in SQL, Tableau, and data analysis best practices as needed.
