Sr. Manager - Content Strategy and Development with an University

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the universitys brand vision and marketing objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end content creation process, for various platforms, including website, social media, blogs, press releases, and marketing collateral.
• Set and maintain a consistent tone, voice, and style across all content to reflect the universitys brand identity.
• Develop creative storytelling approaches to communicate the university’s values, mission, and unique offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging stories and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and is optimized for search engine visibility.
• Oversee the repurposing and repackaging of content for various channels to maximize reach and engagement.
• Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of content, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve engagement and lead generation.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-12 years of experience in content marketing, writing, and editing.
• Proven experience in managing content for big brands, marketing agencies, or media houses.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies.
• Strong understanding of brand identity and the ability to align communications with brand vision across various platforms.
• Experience working within the higher education ecosystem or related industries is a major plus.
