The Senior QA Lead Manual Testing (Salesforce & NetSuite) Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal QA Lead with extensive expertise in Salesforce and NetSuite to oversee and drive the quality assurance strategy for a 10+ member Manual QA team within a large IT department. While this role does not carry formal managerial responsibilities, the Principal QA Lead will act as a key influencer, shaping the vision for QA excellence, establishing clear reporting mechanisms to measure success, and ensuring daily alignment with the highest standards of quality.

Here s how you ll be making an impact:

• Lead QA Strategy : Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA teams work.
• Daily Guidance : Provide daily guidance, run stand-ups, and support the QA team to ensure a high standard of testing across all projects and initiatives.
• Collaboration with Leadership : Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine QA goals that align with business objectives.
• Manual Test Execution : Drive the execution of manual test cases for Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Process Improvement : Regularly analyze testing workflows and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Communication : Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, regarding testing status, challenges, and solutions.
• Team Development : Promote a culture of excellence within the QA team through mentoring, feedback, and continuous professional development.
  

We re looking for a teammate with the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science , Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce expertise with at least 7-10 years of experience in testing Salesforce CRM and/or NetSuite ERP processes.
• Strong understanding of Quote to Cash and Revenue to Report processes within Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Proven track record of working with teams dedicated to designing, executing, and reporting on functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle, with experience working in a Scrum environment.
• Expertise in QA tools and bug tracking systems, including Jira, Zephyr Scale, or similar.
• Leadership and strategic thinking abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for achieving excellence in both customer satisfaction and internal team performance.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
