Technical Product Manager - SaaS

QAD is looking to hire a Technical Product Manager - SaaS for our Engineering team. The person will Direct a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

You will be directly involved in leading the QAD transformation into a SaaS product company as we deliver QAD software products in public cloud. Our next generation platform enables customer consumption of the QAD product portfolio in the form of software services. This new delivery model requires a modern next generation public cloud based platform managed and operated by the QAD cloud operations team.

Your role will take the lead in developing an outside-in definition of "the what" for end to end customer experience for facing capabilities and entitlements of the QAD SaaS offers. You will be the subject matter expert responsible for understanding what (availability service level agreement (SLA), infrastructure capacity, resiliency, elasticity, and support levels) cloud ERP competitors entitle in their SaaS solutions (what comprises standard offer, premium offer, and optional services). Your ability to collaborate and prioritize feature roadmaps with your peers will be crucial to success.
