Senior Test Analyst - SAP SuccessFactors Projects (8-9 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for SAP SuccessFactors projects, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to determine testing scope and approach.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to testing.

- Estimate testing effort, resources, and timelines.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing standards and best practices.

- Design and develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data for SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation).

- Execute test cases and document test results, including defects and issues.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Utilize test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps) to manage test cases, defects, and test execution.

- Conduct thorough defect analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity within the SuccessFactors system.

- Create and maintain reusable test assets.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules and their functionality.

- Understand the integration points between SuccessFactors and other systems.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP SuccessFactors releases and updates.

- Provide subject matter expertise on SuccessFactors testing best practices.

- Configure test environments and troubleshoot system issues.

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test objectives.

- Communicate test progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders effectively.

- Participate in requirement gathering and design review sessions.

- Provide training and support to end-users during UAT.

- Lead or participate in defect triage meetings.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors.

- Proven experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases for SAP SuccessFactors modules.

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is a plus.

- SAP SuccessFactors certification is a plus.

- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Worksoft Certify) is a plus.

- Experience with API testing.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP SuccessFactors certifications in relevant modules.

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).

- Experience with database testing (SQL).
