Wi-Fi QA Test Engineer

Preferred Skills (Nice to have):

· Knowledge of mobile applications developed for IOS and Android and knowledge of various OS.

· Knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio

· Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance

· Experience in the telecommunication industry

Required Skills:

· 5 years of experience in test requirement gathering and testing life cycle.

· Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Must have technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications.

· Must have experience in Functionality, Interoperability and Performance Testing of Wi-Fi Gateways, extenders, home security devices and various other managed wi-fi clients.

· Familiarity with network topologies and configurations.

· Understanding of security and encryption protocols, such as SSL/TLS, WPA2, etc.

· Routers, Wireless extenders & Wireless standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax)

· Experience working with TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, Switching.

· Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools – Ixia, Spirent, iperf and packet debuggers like Wireshark, Charles.

· Has a technical background in secondary home networking technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z Wave, Matter.

· Experience using Jira and confluence.

· Ensure effective communications with peers and management.
