As a QA Automation Engineer you will use your in-depth knowledge of networking and test automation to design tests and develop test automation, support and enhance the existing test automation framework for a SD-WAN networking product.
What you ll do

Role/Responsibilities:

Design and develop test frameworks and scripts using CLI, REST API, and Selenium Automation with Python.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for functional, System testing, and customer issues.

Set up and maintain automation testbeds

Run release regression Test and analyze & debug test failures
Submit bugs and work with developers / QA System engineers to reproduce issues

Collaborate & engage with QA System, DevOps, and development teams for test automation and improve software quality

Contribute to Tool development for internal teams requirement

Knowledge and Skills:

Skills Required:

Total 8-12 years of experience, 5+ years of experience in full-time Python development

Experience in object-oriented design principles.

Experience in networking protocols (Example - VLAN, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, NAT, Ipv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP )
Experience in REST API, CLI / Selenium automation

Experience in using Linux, Git, Jira, Jenkins and understanding of SDLC

Experience in SD-WAN products is a plus

Understanding the AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle cloud environment is a plus

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
